The App

The BRI app makes it easy for users to find accessible events nearby, then goes a step further by helping them plan the entire experience. Once an event is selected, users can find transportation options, add the event to their calendar, notify friends and family, and even set reminders for when it’s time to leave. The app also connects users with friends from their contacts who are using BRI, allowing them to see which events their friends are attending, making it simple to plan and enjoy events together.

Technology and thoughtful design can help bridge the gap in accessibility by leveraging the existing features in phones and communication devices. By simplifying and streamlining communication, these tools can make interactions more direct and user-friendly, ensuring that everyone—regardless of ability—feels safe, comfortable, and confident. When technology is designed with inclusivity in mind, it empowers individuals in their daily lives, fostering independence and enhancing their overall sense of well-being.

The goal is for users to connect with their community, family, and friends, offering a small yet meaningful step toward reducing feelings of isolation. Ultimately, BRI aims to help individuals live a more authentic and empowered life, fostering connections and confidence along the way.
